Veteran Amputees
Albert Ross, 21, left and Chris Leverkuhn, 21, dry off after a workout at the exercise pool during physical therapy at the Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio. Ross and Leverkuhn lost portions of their legs during their tour of duty in Iraq. Brooke Army Medical Center has seen a much larger influx of amputees from the war in Iraq than in any other previous conflicts.
